VanWest Studios is a small-batch ceramics practice grounded in process, place, and intention. Founded by Jordan Gooch and rooted in Oak Cliff, Dallas, the studio makes refined, functional ceramics designed to elevate everyday moments.

Each piece is formed by hand with a focus on balance — proportion, weight, texture — considering not just how an object looks, but how it feels and functions in daily use. Simplicity is intentional here; every element serves a purpose.

Mugs, bowls, and vessels are made to be held, used, and returned to — objects that integrate into daily rituals without feeling overly precious. Working in small batches, we embrace the subtle variations in glaze, tone, and form that come with making by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike; each one carries a sense of material, movement, and time.
